HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF FOR OUR GARMENTS
IMPORTANT PLEASE READ:
We make and advertise all of our garments using the GARMENT'S ACTUAL SIZE not your body size. For example, if the measurement of your waist against your skin is 28", then you will need to order the garment that is advertised as a 29" or 30" waist (i.e. slightly bigger than your body measurement).
As we also make your custom-sized garments to the EXACT SIZES you provide, it is ESSENTIAL when you measure yourself to keep the measuring tape SLACK and very comfortable over your body.
The best way to measure yourself is using a cloth measuring tape. Do NOT pull the measuring tape TIGHT on your body; otherwise the garment will be too small for you!
For example, if you pull the measuring tape tight on your waist, and it measures 34" then that means you have a BODY SIZE of 34". So to get the GARMENT SIZE (which is the size we need), just loosen the tape enough to be able to swing it around your waist, and give us that looser GARMENT measurement of 35" to 36".
- Don't add inches for tight-fitting PVC items that you want tight on you
- Add 1" for tight-fitting satin clothing such as skirts, or for PVC items you want a little loose on you
- Add 2" for looser-fitting clothing such as maids uniforms or items you want loose
